Scorpio stolen in Shopian found in Srinagar

Srinagar August  9 (PTK) A Scorpio bearing registration number Ch 048 1767 which was stolen from Tak Mohalla Shopian and after which sound was alerted in the area has been found in Srinagar.

An official said that at about 0300 hr Scorpio stopped near habbak naka towards zakura side.

Our alert santries/party of naka tried almost to stop but after taking heavy break suddenly Scorpio in full speed backed & diverted towards foreshore road, he said

He added that Scorpio due to highly speed felt down near masjid of fisherman colony (approx 50 meters from main road ) ,02 persons ran away from the spot. Unit Qat/115 alongwith recovery van recoverd the same & handed over to PS Nigeen.(PTK)
