Rifle snatching bid foiled at J&K bank Imam Sahib

SGR April 03 (PTK) Suspected militants on Saturday on tried to snatch a 12 bore rifle from guard of Jammu and Kashmir bank at Imam Sahib however it was foiled.

A police official said that unidentified persons tried to snatch his 12 bore rifle,” he said. However, he said the guard entered into a scuffle with the accused persons following which one was arrested on spot.

He said security forces have been rushed and a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers.

“Police is examining the CCTV footage of the bank to identify and nab the accused,” he added. (PTK)
