Resolve issue of undergraduate SSA teachers, Will hit roads again if issues not resolved: JKSSA chairman
SRINAGAR, (PTK): Shah Fayaz chairman JKSSA teachers association came down heavily and warned that if our issue not addressed and department will not stop harassing SSA teachers on the name of verification , affidavit, qualification bar etc we will again hit roads.
Shah said we are struggling from last 3 years and we are attending schools not compromising with future of our poor students. Our parents, children’s are suffering we are living a life of prisoners. We joined this department we fallowed all rules and regulations, we obeyed what department directed us. At the time of regularization department verified our documents and our character and antecedents but it is unfortunate that once again we are being harassed on the name of verification.
Shah said what our sin is, he added that Rets appointed with us and are getting all benefits and no verification for them, General line teachers working with us enjoying everything having 10th, 12th qualification without any verification. Why discrimination, why dual nature.
He further added it is unfortunate that department knows fully and have evidences that before regularization as RRT all documents where verified by concerned DDOs.
He said we are not against verification we are fully cooperating department but irony is that those who got appointed with us, those who received same orders as we received but they do not need any verification.
He said department should verify documents of all General line teachers, principals, lecturers, masters because we are smelling something fishy.
Shah said every time whenever academic session starts department comes with new problem for teachers.
Shah said we are with department, we do not want any confrontation but this mental torture will cause instability.
Shah said regularized Rets are waiting even their poor families are waiting for their regularization but it is unfortunate that no clarification.
We appeal Governor, advisor, worthy chief secretary, worthy com. secretary education AK Sahu issue an order to verify documents of all employees in education department, issue guidelines and clarification for undergraduate SSA teachers, un-regularized Rets. Shah said we are going to call emergency meeting of our state leadership on Sunday 24 Feb to discuss future course of action.
Hatim Qayoom general Secretary of association said we will not tolerate this mental, emotional torture we were asked to verify documents , CID verification again after 16 years, undergraduate teachers are not only SSA teachers there are RTTs who are undergraduates and are getting all benefits, there are General line teachers who are enjoying everything why to target a particular community. Hatim said every day a new guide line new mental, physical torture. (PTK)
