CM Omar Abdullah pays floral tributes at Balidan Stambh on 80th Independence Day

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 15 (PTK): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today paid floral tributes at the Balidan Stambh in Srinagar on the occasion of the nation’s 80th Independence Day, honouring the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs.

The Chief Minister laid a wreath at the memorial and observed a moment of silence as a mark of respect for those who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.

Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat, ADGP Headquarters, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, senior officers, security personnel and others were present on the occasion.

The solemn ceremony served as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice and dedication of the martyrs whose supreme sacrifices continue to inspire the nation.PTK
