Ramban tunnel collapse: All ten bodies recovered:DC

Five among them are from West Bengal

Ramban May 21 (PTK) The dead bodies of all ten labourers have been found by rescuers from the debris of an under-construction tunnel which collapsed near Khooni Nallah area of Ramban district.

An official said that ten bodies of trapped workers have been recovered from the debris at Ramban Tunnel site which includes the one which was recovered a day before.

He said that bodies have shifted to district hospital Ramban besides that families have been accordingly informed.

The deceased have been identified as Sudhir Roy (31), Jadav Roy (23), Gautam Roy (22), Dipak Roy (33), Parimal Roy (38) all from West Bengal, Shiva Chowhn (26) from Assam, Nawaraj Chowdhury (26) from Nepal, Muzaffar (38) and Israt (30) from J&K.

He further added that traffic is playing normally on the highway. (PTK)
