Pulwama encounter:- Solider killed exchange of fire on ,Internet services suspended in the area

Press Trust of Kashmir | Pulwama : A solider was killed in an ongoing encounter between government forces and militants in Hanjin village of Rajpora Hamlet in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A senior police officer said that a solider was critically injured while as exchange of fire is on .

He said that injured solider identified as Hawaldar Kashi of 44 RR was evacuated to 92 base hospital Srinagar in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

He added that exchange of fire is going and so far no militant has been killed.

Meanwhile as a precautionary measure, internet services have been suspended in the area.(PTK).
