Police along with Tehsildar conducts market checking in Nigeen Srinagar

SRINAGAR 01 MAY(PTK) In order to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic, an extensive market checking drive was conducted in the jurisdiction Nageen of Hazratbal area along with Tehsildar North/SMC.

In this connection ten shops were sealed by Tehsildar in view of existing Govt directives. Moreover, the foreshore stretch was also cleared from the illegal occupation by fruit/vegetable vendors. The goods were confiscated by SMC.

Locals appreciated the move of the Police in wake of the global pandemic of COVID-19 and appealed authorities to continue such drives in the area(PTK)
