Pandit shot dead in Puwama

Srinagar February, 26 (PTK) A Pandit was shot at and injured by unknown gunmen in Achan area of Litter hamlet in South Kashmir’s Puwama district.

An official said that militants fired upon a pandi in which he received injuries who has been shifted to district hospital Pulwama for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead.

He has been identified as Sanjay Pandith son of Kashi Nath Pandit resident of Achan who was working as Bank security guard.

Meanwhile, area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (PTK)
