NGO member with travel history distributing masks and relief tests positive
SRINAGAR 12 APRIL (PTK) persons who is a member of a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has been tested positive for Covid-19 in Kashmir Valley.
Officials said that this person has travel history but despite that he preferred to distribute relief material and masks among people.
The development has sent Administration into tizzy as they have started tracing the people who have come in his contact.
The Government confirmed that an NGO member having travel history was distributing masks and relief material have been tested positive. It said that it is a big challenge for the Government to trace the contacts.
“These precautions about distribution were notified with a reason & vision. An NGO member not adhereing to norms has tested positive. That multiplies our problems and puts community at risk. Pl cooperate” Tweeted district administration Srinagar.
