National Flag unfurls in border Tehsil Nowshera under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’
CBC Rajouri hosts ‘Mini ICOP’ in Government Degree College
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR NOWSHERA, AUGUST 12: Under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Field Office Rajouri today organized a Mini Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’.
The Outreach Programme was organised at Government Degree College Nowshera with the aim to generate mass awareness regarding the ongoing campaign of Har Ghar Tiranga.
In his address, Joint Director, Central Bureau of Communication, J&K and Ladakh region, Ghulam Abbas said that Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is an opportunity to celebrate achievements and identify the unaccomplished dreams. He further added that every person can serve the nation at his own level by performing his duties with honesty and dedication. He further said that the real patriotism in the message of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is to realize our responsibilities for the development of society at large.
Field Publicity Officer, Field Office, Udhampur, Khursheed Yousuf, presented an overview, structure and working of the CBC, J&K during the event. He said that CBC is engaged in generating awareness in rural, far flung and Media Shadow zones regarding the Welfare Schemes of Government of India.
Speaking on the Occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nowshera, Kartar Singh said that every citizen of the country must feel proud to be part of celebrations of 75 Years of Independence and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. He further added that the campaign is an opportunity to pay tributes to the heroes of our freedom struggle.
Others present during the event were Rajesh Jasrotia, Station House Officer, Nowshera, Gurnaam Singh, In charge CBC Field Office, Rajouri, Faculty Members of GDC, Noswshera, representatives from Health department and police.

A Poetry session for the students and Seminar for faculty members on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga was also organised to generate awareness and to motivate masses to become part of these campaigns.
CBC, Field Office, installed informative standees on Har Ghar Tiranga for the awareness of the people. Cultural Programmes showcasing the importance of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations and Har Ghar Tringa Campaign enthralled the audience.
Dr. K. K. Sharma, Principal GDC, Nowshera thanked the CBC, Field Office Rajouri for organising the outreach programme in the college premises and appreciated the role of CBC, Rajouri in generating the mass awareness regarding various Welfare Schemes and Campaigns of Govt. of India in district Rajouri.
Har Ghar Tiranga- Bike Rally was another attraction of the day-long programme.
The Bike Rally which was flagged off jointly by ADC, Nowshera, Joint Director, CBC, Jammu and Principal of the host Institute from GDC, Nowshera passed through main bazaar, bus stand and adjoining areas of the market culminated at GDC, Nowshera. The Bikers chanting slogans like Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Matram, Har Ghar Tiranga created an atmosphere of Nationalism. A van fitted with loud speaker which was escorting the Bike Rally playing patriotic songs also enhanced the attractions of masses who witnessed the bike rally.
