Mehbooba visits slain policeman’s residence in Ashmuqam, urges centre for dialogue to end bloodshed
Srinagar Feb 20 (PTK) :People’s Democratic President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday batted for dialogue with Pakistan to end bloodshed in Kashmir.
She visited Logripora , Aishmuqam Anantnag to express sympathies with the bereaved family of constable suhail ahmad who was killed in a militant attack in Baghaat area of Srinagar on Friday.
Mehbooba said that there is need to start dialogue with Pakistan, who according to India are spreading violence in Kashmir, to end this bloodshed here.
Government of India must think how long people of Jammu and Kashmir have to suffer and see violence every day, she said, adding that our youth everyday whether policemen and others are becoming victims of violence.
Pertinently, two policemen were killed in militant attack in Baghat Srinagar on Friday afternoon (PTK)
