Lightning kills 350 sheep, injured 2 bakarwals in Ganderbal

Press Trust of Kashmir | Ganderbal (PTK): Around 350 sheep died and two bakarwals were injured after a lightning hit Sadari Top Wangath  area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district during the intervening night of Tuesday.

Sources told the Press Trust of Kashmir said that the lightning hit sundari top Wangath  area and left dozens of sheep dead and two bakarwals injured.

Soon after the incident, the police party was deployed to the spot to assess the situation.

The two family members that were injured in the incident identified as M. Yaseen Bijran and Mumbai Ahmad Bijran from Kalakote Rajouri.

He added that both the injured were brought to SDH Kangan for treatment and there condition is stable.(PTK).
