On Srinagar-Leh highway bear found dead in Ganderbal District

Ganderbal, Sep 23 (PTK): A black bear was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Srinagar- Leh highway near Shiekhbagh area of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district late last night.

Sources told the Press Trust of Kashmir that as they received the information, a team of wildlife department recovered the body of the bear.

They said they shifted it to Dachigam National Park for further medical formalities, while a case has been also registered and further investigation was going on.(PTK).
