LG Extends Tenure of SKUAST-K Vice Chancellor by Two Years

Srinagar December 13 (PTK) Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in his capacity as Chancellor of the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Kashmir, has extended the tenure of Vice Chancellor Professor Nazir Ahmad Ganai for an additional two years.

The decision, which takes effect from December 16, 2024, was made under Section 25(2) of the SKUAST Act, 1982. Professor Ganai, whose leadership has been marked by significant advancements in agricultural research and education, will continue to contribute to the university’s progress during this extended term.

This move reflects the administration’s confidence in Professor Ganai’s vision and commitment to enhancing the institution’s academic and research excellence.(PTK)
