Lady drowns to death in Kulgam

SRINAGAR  JULY (PTK) A 40-year-old woman drowned to death in Nallah Veshaw at Nagam area of Damhal Hanjipora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district last evening.

Officials identified the woman as Shamima Banoo, wife of Bashir Ahmad Lone from Nagam was crossing the bridge when she slipped into the Nallah Veshaw.

The locals tried to rescue her on time, but couldn’t save her life, they said.
