Kashmir shuts to mourn ‘school principal’

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Kashmir valley is observing a complete shutdown to mourn the killing of a young principal who died during police custody.

According to reports pouring in here, all shops, business establishments are closed in all major towns of valley while as traffic movement is very thin.
Roads are deserted while heavy deployment of forces has been made in many ‘sensitive parts’ of valley to prevent any possible protests.

Classwork in schools and colleges in most of the parts of valley is off.

Pertinently, a school principal Rizwan Ahmad Pandit died in police custody. Against this incident, JRL had called for shutdown. The killing of Rizwan was widely condemned by all political and separatist leaders.

Meanwhile, slain Rizwan was laid to rest last evening.
