Kashmir laws circle organised Table Conference on ‘Youth for Peace’ at townhall Ganderbal

Ganderbal,Feb 21(PTK): Kashmir law circle today organised a roundtable conference here in town hall Ganderbal on the topic ‘youth for peace’.

Sources said the press trust of Kashmir that the kashmir law circle organised the table conference at townhall ganderbal that the main of this conference is to aware the youth how we protect the people by law , how we maintain the peace and how we work for the peace.

The Conference Was Attended By ASP Ganderbal Feroz yehah,Mr Sarfaraz (KAS) officer, ,and other members of the organisation(KLC)

Youth from all walks of life which include lawyer, Activists, scholars,Journalists and academicians participated in the conference.
They expressed their opinions about role of youth in peace development and the way forward.

Participants discussed and debated various issues which confront our society and put forward various solutions and road map for peaceful environment.

Sarfaraz Ahmad, KAS officer ,said that we need to contemplate our narratives and construct new narratives which are not influenced by already established narratives.

Tosweef a participant stressed upon human rights issues and human development indicator.
He mentioned Butan which ranks top in happiness index and stressed upon developing basic human development indicator .He emphasised on enhancing happiness indicators.

Dr.Farooq Stressed on role of governance and advocated delivers of justice for peace.He said injustice is breeding ground for violence.

Many participants emphasised on freeedom of expression , religious tolerance and diversity.

ASP Ganderbal Feroz Yehah appriciated young participants for expressing various opinions and the active participation of youth in peace discourse.

Founding memeber of Kashmir Law circle Sajad expressed jubilation on enthusiasm of participants in the conference and promised to organise more such conferences were youth can express things fearlessly. (PTK)
