JP World School Hosts Grand AI Summit, Launches Advanced AI Lab in Jammu

Jammu, May 14 (PTK): JP World School Jammu on Wednesday organised its first-ever AI Summit and inaugurated a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence Lab, marking a significant step towards innovation-driven and future-ready education.

The event witnessed participation from students, parents, educators and distinguished guests from academic, administrative and media sectors.

The summit was graced by Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Jammu Rakesh Minhas as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the school’s initiative in integrating Artificial Intelligence into education and encouraged students to embrace technology with innovation, curiosity and responsibility.

The event also witnessed the presence of Chairperson Panna Manhas Choudhary, Principal Aparana Kohli, Prof. Vinod Sharma from the University of Jammu, Dr. Arvind Selwal from the Central University of Jammu and senior journalist Pardeep Dutta.

A major highlight of the summit was the inauguration of the advanced AI Lab featuring an AI Educator designed to encourage innovation, creativity and experiential learning among students.

The unveiling of “IRIS,” an AI-powered initiative, drew significant attention during the event. A live demonstration showcasing its capabilities and practical applications was highly appreciated by the audience and dignitaries.

During the summit, experts discussed the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in sectors including education, banking, automobile industries, filmmaking, editing, ERP systems and library management.

An interactive session between students, parents and experts was also held focusing on the future of AI, emerging career opportunities and the importance of adapting to technological advancements.

Addressing the gathering, Chairperson Panna Manhas Choudhary highlighted the institution’s vision of providing cutting-edge educational opportunities and nurturing future leaders equipped with technological skills and creative thinking.

Principal Aparana Kohli expressed gratitude to the guests and reiterated the school’s commitment towards educational excellence and adoption of modern technologies in the learning environment.
