Assure full support of Teaching Community for streamlining of education department.

Srinagar, J&K: Principal Secretary to Government School Education Department Mr. B.K. Singh (IFS) today received praise and endorsement of Chairman JKTA Mr. Shah Fayaz who lauded the efforts of the officer for building a positive atmosphere in the department by his sincere and bold initiatives.
In a statement issued to media Mr.Shah Fayaz lauded the efforts of Principal Secretary School Education for streamline the departmental activities. Shah Fayaz said that it was during the tenure of Mr. B.K. Singh that transfer mechanism was made transparent by way of introduction of IT enabled Annual Transfer Drive. The introduction of e-application based ATD not only saved the community from visiting the offices but also saved them from the mental trauma which was involved in the previously practiced manual submission of transfer applications. The decision was historic and teaching community will keep on reaping the benefits of it in future as well, said Shah Fayaz.

The Chairman JKTA also praised the efforts of the Principal Secretary for settling the long pending confirmation claims of Principals who received there much awaited promotions as I/C CEOs. The Chairman said, “We are hopeful that the manner in which promotions of Principals as I/C CEOs has been done, same transparent approach will be adopted in promotion of Teachers, Masters and Lecturers as well”.(PTK).
