Govt orders release of salary in favour of unconverted RRETS
As per the order 3300 lacs have been been released for the salary of uncovered RRETs.

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar :The government on Wednesday ordered for the release of salary in favour of uncovered RRETs in Kashmir.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the release of funds to the tune of Rs: 3300.00 Lacs ( Rupees Thirty Three crores only) under salary component of SAMAGRA, to the the Chief Education Officers of Kashmir Division, reads the order.

The funds shall strictly be utilized for drawal of the pending salaries of untransited RRET’s and Unregularized RETS, it adds.
However, drawal of salaries shall be subject to the conditions that the Chief Education Officers/Drawing and Disbursing Officers shall strictly adhere to all the codal formalities, financial regulations and circular instructions issued from time to time in this regard.

2. Chief Education Officers shall ensure that further disbursement of funds to the Drawing and Disbursing Officers and subsequently drawal of salaries Immediately without any further delay,
The respective Drawing and Disbursing Officers shall obtain an undertaking duly attested from RRET’s to the effect that in case adverse report regarding character antecedents/genuiness of certificates is received they shall have to refund the salary drawn along with the interest.
The salary in favour of RRET’s having 10+2 as their qualification and those having overlapping degrees shall be paid with a grade pay of Rs: 2400, The CEOS/DDOS shall ensure that no diversion of funds is allowed under all circumstances,

CEOS/DDOS shall also ensure that deductions if any, like NPS/Income Tax etc must be deposited to appropriate heads. The Chief Education Officers shall submit utilization certification detailing therein the name wise expenditure within a period of fifteen days positively as per the enclosed format, it adds.(PTK).
