Govt orders mass promotion of class 1 to 11, except 10th in Jammu division, bi-annual 11th in kashmir division

SRINAGAR ( PTK)The authorities in Jammu and Kashmir union territory on Tuesday decided to give mass promotion to the students from classes 1st to 9th and for class 11th in Jammu division in view of the prevailing situation due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.

Torder was issued today by deputy secretary to the government, school education department, Jammu and Kashmir.

The government has also directed that the students who were to appear in bi-annual/private Class 11 examination in Kashmir division also be considered for mass promotion.

Step has been taken in view of the covid-19 as schools across J&K are closed from last 20 days(PTK))
