Even in 2ist century, Gagarnag Ramsoo lacks road connectivity
Press Trust of Kashmir | Banihal : The Gagarnag area of Ramsoo Sub division in Ramban district has been neglected by State governments and still no road connectivity has been established for Gagarnag habitants in Neel Nayabat of Banihal .
Locals said that the Gagarnag area is located at a distance of 3 km from the Chamlawas Neel and Makarkoot Neel link roads and the lives of the common people have become unbearable due to the lack of road access to the area .
They said that the area of Gagarnag is deprived of basic amenities while the talks of digital India is being spread through the media on daily basis bus there is no change in this village hamlet covered by forests .
They added that the Gagarnag area is located on a steep hill and the daily up down here has put school children, sick people and the general public in deep trouble and people are now fed up with this daily up dowon of arround 8 kms.
They said that many wealthy families have migrated from here for the education of their children while ordinary and poor people are forced to live a difficult life in the road less area.
They appealed to the Governor and the district administration to take steps to connect the area with the road link as soon as possible.(PTK)
