Encounter Breaks Out in Khonmoh Srinagar

SRINAGAR, (PTK): An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Khonmoh, area of Srinagar, police said.

The security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Khonmoh in the morning following specific information about the presence of militants there, a police official said.

The gunfight was on, the official said, adding that further details were awaited.
