Due to power shutdown, traffic remained suspend for four hours in Chenani-Nashri Tunnel,
Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Dec 09:- The movement of vehicles inside Chenani-Nashri Tunnel, also known as Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Tunnel was restored after remaining suspended for around 4 hours on Friday due to power shutdown.
An official said that the power supply to Ramban, Chenani-Nashri Tunnel and adjoining areas remained affected from 12 noon to 3 pm on Friday.
He said the after four hours the power was restored following which the traffic movement was resumed.
“NH 44 UPDATE: Traffic resumed from Chenani Nashri tunnel.” SP Ramban tweeted.
“Chenani-nashri tunnel closed for traffic due to power shutdown.Traffic will resume after power connectivity restores.Inconvenience is regretted.” Mohita Sharma had tweeted earlier.
