Dr Yograj Bags Best Medical Superintendent of the Year Award

JAMMU, July 3: Dr. Parveen Yograj, (MS – General Surgery), who retired as Medical Superintendent of Government Hospital Gandhinagar, Jammu, has brought laurels to the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir by winning the ‘Best Medical Superintendent of the Year’ award at a function held in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Despite facing stiff competition, Dr. Yograj was honored on stage for his remarkable achievements that have brought national recognition to Government Hospital Gandhinagar. His initiatives include the prestigious Kayakalp Awards, advancements in palliative care services, and the implementation of ABDM online registration services.

The organizers highlighted Dr. Yograj’s illustrious career, noting his accomplishment as the state topper in the MD/MS entrance examinations in 1992. He served as a physician to the Jammu & Kashmir Chief Ministers from 1999 to 2019 and won the Curofy Icon of the Year award for four consecutive years.

With an active clinical practice spanning 35 years, Dr. Yograj has also contributed significantly to health awareness through more than 100 motivational videos.

This accolade underscores Dr. Yograj’s dedication and service to the medical field, making him a deserving recipient of this esteemed award.
