Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign: Tiranga rallies held across tourist hotspots in Anantnag

ANANTNAG, AUGUST 16 (PTK): As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, vibrant Tiranga rallies were organised today across Anantnag district at key tourism hubs including Pahalgam, Kokernag, Achabal, Verinag and Daksum, showcasing a strong spirit of unity and patriotism.

The rallies were organised by the Development Authorities of Pahalgam, Kokernag and Verinag, along with the respective Sub-Divisional Administrations, Tourism Department, municipal bodies, other government departments and local service providers.

The celebrations brought together government officials, local communities, tourism stakeholders and visitors under the national flag. Youth groups, volunteers, business operators, civil society members, tourists and local service providers participated enthusiastically in the rallies.

At Pahalgam, local boatmen and tourists carried the Tricolor while navigating the Lidder River, creating a vibrant patriotic spectacle. Local pony owners also joined the celebrations on horseback, proudly waving the national flag.

CEO Pahalgam Development Authority Hilal Nasrullah Jerri, SDM Pahalgam Amit Gupta and other officials participated in the rallies.

Similar Tiranga rallies were held at Achabal, Kokernag, Verinag, Daksum and other scenic destinations. All-Terrain Vehicles were also used during the celebrations, with riders waving the national flag with enthusiasm.

The active participation of government departments, tourism stakeholders, local service providers and youth reflected a shared commitment to patriotic values, national pride and the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga.(PTK)
