DGP sanctions scholarship of over rupees 3.50 lakh in favour of wards of Serving Police personnel

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR July 24: Encouraging and appreciating the hard work of the wards of Police personnel who have excelled in class 10th annual examination during the academic session 2021-2022, the Director General of Police, J&K Shri Dilbag Singh has sanctioned meritorious scholarships of over rupees 3.50 lakh in favour of 75 wards of serving police personnel.

Rupees 6000/- each has been sanctioned in favour of 27 students who have secured more than 90% marks while 48 students who have secured 80% and above marks have been given rupees 4000/- each .

During the current year, police headquarters has sanctioned over rupees 92 lakhs in favour of 1616 wards of serving/martyred/retired police personnel/SPOs who have excelled in different examinations.
