DDC Rajouri reviews performance of PMGSY

295 schemes completed across two subdivisions

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAJOURI, DECEMBER 02: Vikas Kundal, District Development Commissioner Rajouri, today chaired a meeting here to review the progress achieved under the PMGSY sector in the district.

During the meeting, the DDC took a comprehensive stock of the physical and financial achievements of PMGSY schemes under Phase-I and Phase-II in Rajouri and Budhal subdivisions

Taking stock of the progress in Rajouri subdivision, the meeting was informed that out of 195 schemes, the work on 184 schemes was complete in all respects while rest would be completed shortly.

Seeking the progress of the schemes in Budhal subdivision, it was apprised that out of 124 schemes, the work on 111 schemes was complete and the rest are in progress.

Taking an extensive road-wise review of all PMGSY projects, the DDC directed the concerned authorities to expedite the progress of work and achieve the targets set by the Government within the given timeline.

Inquiring about the schemes approved under PMGSY Phase-III, the meeting was informed that 04 schemes have been proposed for Budhal subdivision and 08 for Rajouri subdivision and all schemes are in the tendering process.

Officers present in the meeting included ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; ExEn PMGSY Rajouri, Subash Chander; ExEn PMGSY Budhal, Imtiaz Mir; AD Planning, Bansi Lal and other concerned officers.
