DDC Elections 1st Phase: Polling going on in a smooth way in Ganderbal

Ganderbal Nov, 28 (PTK)Polling began amid tight security arrangements for DDC Elections in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district of Block Gund A and B from 7 am on Saturday.

According to PTK, news agency As per officials 2.56 percent voters have casted their votes till 9 am

He said that 21 candidates are in fray and for the posts of Panchs there are 62 candidates.

He said there are 20,895 voters among which 10,966 are male voters and 9929 voters are females. “We have set up 127 polling stations. The strength of polling staff is 762.”

The result for the Panch and Sarpanch posts will be declared shortly after the culmination of the polling at 2pm.(PTK)
