DDC conducts extensive tour of remote areas of Ghordi, Ramnagar Blocks
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR UDHAMPUR, DECEMBER 14: To inspect the status and progress of ongoing works being executed by the Rural Development Department, District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna today conducted an extensive tour of Ghordi and Ramnagar blocks .
During the tour, the DDC chaired meetings of officers/ field functionaries of RDD at Block Development Office Ghordi and Dak Bunglow Ramnagar. She took a detailed work wise review of the progress of works taken up under the District Capex budget, ADP, and other flagship schemes in the twin blocks.
The DDC exhorted upon the officers and field functionaries to work with dedication and in a transparent manner to complete the works within the fixed time frame.

Taking note of low expenditure, the DDC asked the concerned officers to achieve the financial targets within the shortest possible time while abiding by the laid down norms. The DDC also directed them to complete all the works within the set deadline and maintain transparency and accountability in the execution of works.
The BDOs were directed to take effective steps for completion of all projects on a mission mode and maximize the ground result by working in double shifts. The DDC set 31st December, 2022 as the deadline for completion of the ongoing and pending works.
