DC Poonch reviews implementation of Self-Employment Schemes
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR POONCH DECEMBER 14: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting to review implementation of self-employment schemes.
All concerned government departments and Banks attended the meeting.
The meeting was aimed at achieving reasonable targets of employment generation in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized on all Bank branches to make the Loan sanction process Hassle-free to enable the unemployed youth to set up their enterprises by availing different self-employment schemes.
The special focus of the meeting was to make maximum awareness and Sponsorship under schemes like PMEGP, JKREGP, MUMKIN, Tejsawani and Spurring under Mission Youth.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned government departments and Bank Branches of the district to coordinate to make these schemes successful for the overall development of the district.
Line departments were instructed to make maximum sponsorship to achieve desirable results under these schemes and extend hand holding to the beneficiaries during the process.
The Deputy Commissioner assured bankers of all the support from administration level for making Self Employment a success in the district.
The officers present in the meeting were General Manager DIC, Dr. Zakir Hussain, Nodal Officer Self-Employment Schemes Poonch, Deputy Director Employment, Chief Agriculture Officer Poonch, Chief Horticulture Officer, AD Handloom, AD Handicrafts, representative KVIB Poonch, District Project Officer NRLM, Cluster Head JK Bank Poonch, Regional Manager JK Grameen Bank Rajouri Poonch Zone, LDM Poonch and all Branch Managers and Incharge advances of all Banks Branches of district Poonch.
