DC Shopian distributes land passbooks among farmers
Land Passbook generation option is now open on JK Land record Portal: DC
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 02: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today distributed land passbooks among the farmers of the district in a function organised at Mini Secretariat, here.
The distribution function was attended by ACR Shopain and other revenue officials and landowners/ farmers.
ACR informed that Land passbooks numbering more than 100 were distributed to the farmers of various areas of the district.

The DC said that these land passbooks are true to the records and can be generated online through “JKLandrecord portal” by landholder without visiting any revenue office, at a click from the comfort of home.
He said this is a major initiative towards affecting more transparency and efficiency in the revenue system and that the Revenue Department, Shopian is digitising the revenue records on a Mission Mode style and is taking efforts to complete the process expeditiously.
