DC Ramban discusses arrangements for I-Day, promotion of Har Ghar Tringa campaign  

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, JULY 31: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam  today  chaired a meeting of line departments and other stakeholders  to discuss the arrangements for the celebration of Independence Day 2022  and promotion of Har Ghar Tringa Campaign.

 The senior officers of Army, Civil and Police administration, besides other stakeholders gave  valuable suggestions to make the Har Ghar Tringa Campaign a grand event in the district.

Commander 11 Sector RR, Yogesh Sharma; SSP, Ramban, Mohita Sharma; ADDC, Rajinder Sharma; ADC, Harbans Sharma, i/c Commandant IRP, Riyaz Tantary; CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, besides district and sectoral officers of Civil and Police department were present in the meeting.

It was decided that the main I-Day function will be held at  District Police Lines ground  where the National Flag will be unfurled  by the chief guest followed by March Past by the contingents of JKP, Home Guard JKAP, CRPF, Army band and schools.

The DC directed the district heads of different departments to ensure their presence as well as their subordinate officers and officials on the Independence Day function both at the district headquarter as well as SDM, Tehsil and Block levels.

The DC constituted different Committees to ensure foolproof arrangements including Cultural Programme Monitoring Committee, Reception Committee etc. He directed the concerned officers to put in sincere efforts to make the National function a grand success.

The meeting held threadbare discussion the  arrangements related to seating, barricading, drinking water and power supply, sanitation, fire services, security, transport, traffic regulation, illumination of government buildings and other necessary arrangements for the national day function.

The SSP and Traffic police officers also briefed the meeting about security and traffic arrangements for the I-Day celebration.
