DC Kulgam Visits JNV Mirhama, Reviews Construction Progress

Kulgam, May 05 (PTK): Deputy Commissioner Kulgam today visited Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Mirhama to assess the ongoing construction works at the site.

During the visit, the DC reviewed the physical progress of the project and was informed that the total estimated cost stands at Rs 40.47 crore.

The DC issued directions to the concerned departments to ensure timely completion of the project. He instructed for the preparation of estimates for PHE and PDD connections and emphasized the need for a comprehensive DPR for additional developmental works at the campus.

Highlighting the importance of infrastructure resilience, the DC called for adequate flood protection measures to safeguard the institution. He also directed officials to ensure proper road connectivity to the campus and completion of all allied works.

The DC further stressed the need to maintain safety and security measures for labourers engaged at the construction site.(PTK)
