CRPF personnel injured in Srinagar Grenade attack

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR AUG 13:- A CRPF Sub Inspector was injured after militants hurled a grenade towards CRPF bunker near Ali Masjid Eidgah area of Srinagar district on Saturday evening

An official said that militants lobbed a grenade on CRPF Bunker which exploded with a loud bang on roadside resulting in minor injuries to CRPF SI namely Parvez Rana of 161 BN recieved minor splinter injuries.

SI was shifted to SMHS hospital for further treatment and whole area has been cordoned off to nab the militants, he said.

“One grenade was lobbed by militant(s) towards security forces on Ali jan road, Eidgah. This caused minor splinter injuries to one CRPF personnel. Cordon and Search operations have been launched to nab culprit(s)” Srinagar police tweeted.
