CRPF Personnel Injured in Ongoing Encounter in Srinagar

 

Srinagar, November 2: A para-military CRPF personnel sustained injuries in an ongoing encounter in the Khanyar area of Srinagar, Central Kashmir, on Saturday.

 

According to a senior police official, the CRPF personnel was injured during an exchange of fire with militants. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, where his condition is reported to be stable.

 

The operation remains active, with militants believed to be contained within the security cordon, though there are no confirmed reports of militant casualties in Khanyar so far.

 

In a separate encounter in Shangus, Larnoo, two militants were neutralized as search operations continue in the area.
