Cop shot at in Srinagar succumbs

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : A cop who was critically injured after militants fired upon him near Aiwa Bridge along Dr Ali Jan road in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday has succumbed to his injuries

Ghulam Hassan Dar son of Ghulam Rasool Dar of Danwar Eidgah travelling on bike was critically injured after shot at by militants, said an official.

He said that cop was shifted SKIMS Soura for treatment where he breathed his last on Saturday evening.

He earlier added that area was cordoned off and searches launched to nab the attackers.:-PTK.
