Clashes erupt after Eid prayers in Kashmir Valley
Srinagar, June 05 (PTK) : Clashes erupted in several parts of Kashmir valley on Wednesday after congregational Eid prayers, leaving several protesters injured.

Reports reaching to PTK said that clashes erupted in Achajipora, Janglat Mandi, Reeshi Bazar, Lal Chowk and Sherbagh areas of south Kashmir’s Anantnag town after the conclusion of congregational Eid prayers.
Clashes were also reported from Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district where youth tried to hold a demonstration at the main chowk.

An eye witness told PTK that youth held a march soon after the conclusion of prayers at Eidgah Shopian. He said the forces fired tear gas after youth pelted them with stones.
Clashes also erupted in frontier district of Kupwara after thousands of people held a protest demonstration in Kupwara town.

An eye witness said that the protesters raised anti-government and pro Zakir Musa slogans during ongoing protest in many areas of Srinagar district, police fired tear gas to foil the protest.
Several protesters were also injured in the forces’ action during Eid prayer in many area of Kashmir valley.
It is patiently to mention that a woman was killed and another person was injured after attacked by unknown gunmen at Narbal area of Kakapora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. (PTK)
