BR Sharma re-appointed as PSC chairman

SRINAGAR  MAY (PTK) After getting green signal from the Government of India , the Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday re- appointed former Chief Secretary BR Sharma as chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission

The government had earlier rescinded the notification appointing Sharma as chairman of PSC after certain objections from the Central Government

“A fresh notification was issued today after Centre relived him from the assignment he was holding at New Delhi ,”

He shall hold the position of the chairman Public Service Commission, till he attains the age of of 62 years, reads the order lying with PTK adding that his appointment shall take effect from the date he assumes the office.(PTK)
