Press Trust of Kashmir of Kashmir | Srinagar July 20 :– Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Khursheed Ahmad Shah heard the problems of the people during the Block Diwas held at GDC Kangan.
A large number of people of Kangan sub-division and PRIs participated in the public outreach program and presented their demands and grievances of their respective areas.
PRI members and local people have expressed concern about shortage of staff in schools, increase in water and electricity supply, shortage of staff in trauma hospital Kangan, up-gradation of roads in hilly areas, early completion of under-construction roads, Girls’ Higher Secondary School Kangan. Demands such as seating and other necessary equipment in Sheikh Alam Sports Stadium were taken into consideration.

After hearing the problems of the local people, ADDC redressed many grievances on the spot and in this regard issued several instructions to the concerned officers for their early redressal. He assured the public that all their genuine grievances would be redressed in time.
ADDC Khurshid Ahmad urged the PRI members to make people aware of the various flagship schemes available with various departments so that the benefits of such welfare schemes reach the beneficiaries.
On the occasion, DDC appealed to people to register themselves under schemes like Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana launched by the government.
Apart from ADDC, several other officers spoke on the occasion and highlighted the purpose of organizing public outreach program in Kangan sub-division.:-PTK.
