Bear Attack Leaves woman Injured in Sopore

Sopore, 12 Nov (PTK) : A woman sustained injuries as she was attacked by a wild bear outside her home in hardshiva Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on friday morning.

Reports reaching press trust of Kashmir (PTK) that a woman (name withheld) a resident of Hardshiva was attacked by a wild bear early in the morning when she was returning home from nearby madrasa.

The woman suffered grievous injuries, however managed to escape from the claws of the bear and with the help of locals, she was immediately rushed to nearby hospital for treatment,where her condition is said to be stable.

Meanwhile wildlife Department sent a team to the area to lay a trap to catch the wild animal and prevent any untoward incident . (PTK)
