BJP Heavyweights, Including PM Modi and Amit Shah, Set to Boost J&K Campaign from September 8, Sources

Srinagar, Sep 01: In a bid to intensify the BJP’s election campaign in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and several senior ministers from the party are scheduled to arrive in the Union Territory starting September 8, according to party sources.
While discussions are ongoing regarding the precise date of Prime Minister Modi’s arrival, it is anticipated that he will visit J&K after September 10. “There might be a slight adjustment in the schedule for PM Modi’s visit, but the arrival of top BJP leaders, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and party chief J.P. Nadda, is confirmed,” the sources stated.
A senior BJP official mentioned that while PM Modi is expected to join the campaign during the second phase, other senior ministers will begin their visits from September 10. Some may arrive before this date, but the majority are set to come after September 10. PM Modi is likely to address two major rallies, one in Jammu and another in Kashmir, with final dates still being arranged.
