Mirwaiz North Kashmir Stresses on maintaining sectarian harmony, brotherhood , appreciates role of MMU ( J&K)

Mirwaiz North Kashmir and Chairman Muslim Mutahida Mahaaz J&K Moulana Parray Hassan Afzal Firdousi has asked the people in Kashmir especially youth not to get provoked , as there are always some elements present in societies who want to stoke sectarian and communal tensions among people to create rift between sects and communities.

Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi characterized the incident of Khanqah-e-Maula as a “planned and mischievous attempt” to hurt sectarian sentiments and to divide Muslims in Kashmir.

“Kashmiri Muslims have always stood for unity. We have always lived together in harmony. However, there is a considerable amount of effort being made to disturb this unity.Shia-Sunni unity is the call of the time, and we should always keep that in mind” Says Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi

Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi warned that we will not tolerate provocations, sectarian discord or the denigration of each other’s beliefs and will not tolerate comments made by any scholars, preachers, and speakers of both Sunni and Shia communities regarding the beloved Sahaba’s(RA) of Prophet (SAW).

While appreciating the role of MMU Jammu and Kashmir Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi said The (MMU) Jammu and Kashmir has expressed its firm resolve to disallow any attempts to spread sectarian discord in Kashmir and harm to the region’s traditional sectarian harmony.The MMU J&K from all sects are constantly making efforts to ensure unity and brotherhood among the followers of all sects while pursuing their respective practices.
