Engineer Rashid’s interim bail plea again postponed

Srinagar, June 22: Hearing of Engineer Rashid’s interim bail plea has once again been postponed by the Delhi government untillJuly 1 for taking oath.

Media reports quoting sources state that the Court deferred the hearing after National Investigation Agency (NIA) sought more time to tender its response.

Earlier also the Court deferred the final verdict on the plea of Rashid for granting interim bail for taking oath as Member of Parliament on multiple occasions and te lastest one was on June 19, 2014.

Rashid recently won the Baramulla constituency seat during the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, as an Independent.
