The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken a step forward in the investigation of the alleged railways land-for-jobs money laundering case, issuing fresh summons to RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. Prasad is scheduled to appear for questioning on January 29, followed by Tejashwi on January 30, at the ED office on Bank Road in Patna.

Official sources revealed that a team delivered the summons to the official residence of Prasad’s wife, former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi. This development comes after the duo had previously skipped summonses related to the same case.

The alleged scam revolves around the period when Lalu Prasad held the position of Railway Minister in the UPA-1 Government. The ED is actively pursuing leads in its efforts to unravel the intricacies of the money laundering case.
