NHW closed due to shooting stones in Panthyal

Srinagar January, 21 ( PTK) The Jammu-Srinagar national highway has been closed due to shooting stones at Panthyal in Ramban district.

“Traffic movement stopped from both ends on Jammu-Srinagar highway in view of road blocked at Panthyal due to continuous shooting stones,” a traffic police official said.

He said that men and machinery have been pressed into service and efforts are on to restore traffic on the highway.

Notably in past few days NHW has been closed for traffic several times, however, it is being cleared at an earliest.
