DDC Shopian chairs Rent Assessment Committee meeting; approves 08 cases
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 04: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of Rent Assessment Committee (RAC), at Mini Secretariat here.
DDC after discussions with heads of concerned departments and owners of the buildings approved 08 cases for rent assessment pertaining to different departments including Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Fire & Emergency Services, Handicraft, Agriculture, and Sheep Husbandry Department.
The committee approved all 8 cases as per the notified schedule of the Government in vogue.

The DDC directed the concerned officers to expedite the payment of rents as per the rates approved in the meeting.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Khursheed Ahmad Khatana; Ex. Engineer R&B; District Sheep Husbandry Officer besides the representative of FCS&CA, Agriculture, Handicrafts and Fire & Emergency.
