GANDERBAL POLICE INTIATED STRICT ACTION AGAINST ILLEGAL EXTRACTION OF SAND AND BAJRI

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR GANDERBAL 09th SEPTEMBER 2022:- A Stringent action has been taken by Ganderbal Police against illegal extraction of Sand and Bajri and its further unauthorised transportation within the District.
Under the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, a special team of Police was constituted under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ganderbal and SDPO Kangan. The Special teams were headed by SHOs of various Police Establishments of the District.

Acting tough against the Culprits, 06 Trippers and 04 Tractors were seized which were loaded with illegal Sand and Bajri extracted from Nullah Sindh Ganderbal. The registration numbers of Vehicles Seized are mentioned below:

In this connection case FIR No.s 265/22, 50/22, 144/22, 145/22 & 58/22 under relevant sections stands registered in PS Ganderbal, PS Kheerbawani, PS Kangan & PS Lar, and further investigation has been taken up.
