ADDC Anantnag presides over weekly Block Diwas at Vessu, Qazigund

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR ANANTNAG, AUGUST 17: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Wani today listened to public issues during the weekly Block Diwas programme held at Vessu Block.

At the outset, the BDO Vessu, Arshi Rasool welcomed ADDC and other participants in the Block Diwas. She also presented a brief on the developmental profile of the Block and requested the PRIs members to put forth their demands and issues.

Sarpanches, Panches, senior citizens and the public of Vessu and adjoining Panchayats projected scores of demands and problems. They put up various issues and other issues of public importance for redressal and appropriate action.

Responding to the demands, the ADDC assured the public that all their genuine issues would be addressed in a time bound manner. The ADDC directed the officers to work in coordination for equitable development of all Panchayats.

He also directed concerned officers to resolve the genuine demands of the public on priority and submit the detailed report of pending issues so that the same are projected to higher authorities for consideration.

Among others, the programme was attended also by various officers besides officials of line departments and PRIs of the area.
