National Lok Adalat: 1221 cases settled in Udhampur

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 13: In Compliance to the directions of Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority, a   Lok Adalat was held today under the Chairmanship of Yash Paul Bourney (Pr. District & Sessions Judge Udhampur) and under the overall Supervision of Sub Judge, Rajni Sharma, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Udhampur in the Court complex Udhampur.

A total of 5 benches were constituted in the District.

 The Bench No. 1 consisted of Yash Paul Bourney (Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur), Suresh Chander Katal (Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur) and Advocate B.B Sharma assisted.  Bench No. 2 comprised  B.A Munshi (CJM Udhampur), Shafeeq Ahmed (District Judicial Mobile Magistrate), Udhampur, Ashutosh Gupta Advocate. Bench no. 3 consisted of Preet Simran Kour ( Sub Judge Special Mobile Magistrate, Udhampur), Maleeka Sharma ( Munsiff JMIC), Shallu Khajuria Advocate. Bench no. 4 consisted of  Sub Judge, Smriti Sharma Chairman TLSC Ramnagar, K.D.Sharma (Lawyer) TLSC Ramnagar, Bench no 5 included Madhu Sharma (Munsiff JMIC Majalta), Mohan Lal Gupta.

 A total number of 1221 cases pertaining to different nature were taken up, Out of which 1077 cases were settled. An Amount of Rs. 14980031/ was also settled.
